He grew up together with his sister in Winnipeg. His parents were Irish Immigrants, they married in 1915 in Winnipeg. His dad was an engineer.
Patrick joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in August 1939. He started as an airgunner and after his training to be a pilot, he started in December 1942 with flying. After that he left for the RAF base Valley in England. Since October 1943 he was part of the 406e squadron at Manston, Kent.
Buried: R.K. Begraafplaats in Weerselo.
Remembered in the St George’s Royal Air Force Chapel of Remembrance in Biggin Hill.
Awarded with the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, the Defence Medal, the War Medal, the 1939-1945 Star, the Europe Star and the France-Germany Star.
