Frank grew up in St. Pancras in a family with five children.

He joined the Royal Air Force in August 1940. His first flight took place in December 1941 during his training in Rhodesie. He joined the RAF base Upper Heyfort in Oxfordshire in December 1943. From March 1943 he was part of the 106e squadron in Syerston.

This was his thirtheend raid. His brother Leslie served with RAF, he survived the war.

After 1956 the family visited the grave often.

Buried: R.K. Begraafplaats in Rossum.

Awarded with the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, th War Medal, the 1939-1945 Star and the Europe Star.
